History

In 1980 an amalgamation with the former library of the Alcohol and Drug Education Services resulted in an expanded AFM Library named after William Potoroka, a well known Manitoba educator in the alcohol and drug abuse field. By 1983 the library contained the largest collection of current materials in addictions in the province of Manitoba.
