RehabilitationAFM provides rehabilitation services to youth and adults for alcohol and other drugs and for gambling problems.
The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba(AFM) provides a continuum of services aimed at reducing the harm associated with alcohol, other drugs, and gambling through a range of education, prevention, rehabilitation, and research services.
The AFM supports a biopsychosocial model of addictions which support the view that addictions arise from various factors. We are committed to a client-centered approach and employ a Stages of Change model and Levels of Involvement framework to describe individual client involvement with alcohol, other drugs, and/or gambling. |
