YOUR DONATIONS HELP THE ADDICTIONS FOUNDATION OF MANITOBA
REDUCE THE HARM ASSOCIATED WITH ALCOHOL, OTHER DRUGS AND GAMBLING

The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) depends on a combination of sources for its funding.

The AFM is a Crown agency and receives the majority of its funding from Manitoba’s Department of Healthy Living, Seniors, and Consumer Affairs, Manitoba Lotteries Corporation and through donations from private supporters.

The AFM is a registered non-profit charity (Charitable Organization Number 107863847 RR0004) with the Province of Manitoba and the Canada Revenue Agency. All financial donations made to the AFM are tax deductible.

Financial donations as well as donations of material goods are gratefully accepted at the AFM. Please contact our offices to discuss contributions of material goods.

How to make your donation

Donations can be made over the phone using VISA or MasterCard, sent by mail with the necessary information or use the printable donation form.  A tax receipt will be sent to you.  All official donation receipts for income tax purposes must contain the full name, including middle initial, and address of the donor.

In Memoriam
Donations can be made in memory of a loved one who has passed away. Upon your request, a card acknowledging your donation will be provided to the family or friends to inform them of your donation.

General Donation
Make a gift in your own name in support of the AFM.

Specified Gifting
Donations can also be made to a specific program or for a specific item, i.e., exercise equipment, computers.

The AFM gratefully acknowledges donations from our supporters.

Every donation is important to us and will be acknowledged by a thank you letter from the Chief Executive Officer. With the donor’s permission, donations over $500.00 will be acknowledged on our website and on our “Donor’s Wall”.
