Addictions Foundation of Manitoba
Programs offered by the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) cover a range of services and supports relating to alcohol, substance use and problem gambling. The programs support a biopsychosocial-spiritual model of addictions, which holds the view that addictions arise from various factors. The services are delivered with a commitment to a client-centered approach and employ a Stages of Change model and Levels of Involvement framework.
The programs and services of AFM became part of Mental Health & Addictions, Shared Health and Manitoba regional health authorities (RHAs) during 2022.
