Manitoba Substance Use and Addictions Awareness Week

Join AFM and other Manitoba Addiction Agencies in various events throughout Manitoba Substance Use and Addictions Awareness Week (M-SUAAW). There are events planned all across Manitoba.

A few highlights include:

  • M-SUAAW Kick-Off, Monday, November 26, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Manitoba Legislative Building, Rotunda at 450 Broadway. Featuring proclamation of the week by Minister of Health, Seniors and Active Living. For more details, see this poster
  • Lunch and Learns on November 27, 28 and 29, noon – 1 p.m. each day at 1031 Portage Ave, 2nd floor. For more details, see this poster.
  • A Health and Resource Fair, Friday, November 30, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Portage Place Mall, adjacent to the Edmonton Court. For more details, see this poster
  • AFM Library Open House, Friday, November 30,  2:00 – 4:00 p.m., 1031 Portage Ave, main floor. For more details, see this poster

Events are also planned in Brandon, Thompson, Flin Flon and several other communities across the province. Check in with your local AFM office for details.
